GIC Real Estate

The Real Estate (RE) arm of GIC invests in real estate and real estate-related assets outside of Singapore. We manage a well-diversified portfolio covering over 40 countries in property sectors such as offices, retail, hotels, residential, industrial, niche sectors and companies.

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Real Estate team as an Analyst/Associate.

Responsibilities

1. Contribute to the development of investment strategies for European RE markets
2. Source investment opportunities consistent with these strategies
3. Independently design and maintain underwriting models. Ensure output accuracy
4. Coordinate the production of internal investment memoranda
5. Support asset management activities relating to existing investments
6. Participate in and represent GIC as a good ambassador at industry events
7. Support the GIC mission wherever and however else possible

Requirements

1. 1-3 years' relevant RE (or broader M&A) transactional experience
2. Ability to communicate complex, abstract and/or difficult messages in a simple, clear manner
3. Understanding of financial structures (including debt and equity, listed and private, JVs, direct and indirect instruments)
4. Strong academic background
