This position will attend a portion of weekly choral, wind, and orchestral rehearsals and concerts during the academic year to take professional-quality videos. Recordings will be edited with the end result being short videos for social media and marketing purposes.

Work Schedule

Choral, wind, and orchestral rehearsals and performances as required to record enough video footage – this will be mostly evenings, and a few weekends. Editing can be done at your convenience.

Primary Duties

1. Availability during rehearsal and performance times (you do not need to attend the entire rehearsal or performance, but enough to get the necessary footage).
2. Video record rehearsals and performances on location as requested.
3. Ensure that equipment is present and working prior to each performance.
4. Edit the footage in post-production (guidelines will vary based on type and length of performance).
5. Post finished videos to various social media channels, and/or provide the videos to various faculty/staff.
6. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.

2. Demonstrates dependability and reliability.
3. Maintain a positive working relationship with faculty and staff, especially while recording performances.
4. Concert appropriate dress when required.
