Executive Director, FM Sales, Credit Sales
- To develop the Bank’s relationships with Clients through marketing and sales of Financial Market products
- Drive the wider Financial Markets strategy to align with Bank’s Long Term objectives and opportunities
- Partner with key internal stakeholders including Trading, Structuring and Risk Teams
- Develop a productive working relationship with the client’s key decision makers through calling, visits, and provision of relevant ideas to become a critical external resource in their decision-making process around usage of financial markets instruments.
- Work with Relationship Managers and Originate new Client flows
- Diligent coverage of the daily flow business meeting all required standards and procedures
- Champion digitalisation and automation efforts, identifying and implementing solutions that improve efficiency and the Client experience
- Lead initiatives to enhance Cross-Asset and Cross-Border collaboration, ensuring integration of Products & Services for clients whilst maximising returns
- Achieving assigned full year budget as per annual Year End Review document for Client Income from allocated Client Accounts
- Within this budget, aim to generate specific Financial Markets Product mix as per Year End Review Document
- Help mentor and develop a high-performing Financial Markets team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous learning
- The role will involve liaising with clients and executing trades and orders in line with SCB’s policy and procedures consistent with all FM Sales staff globally including Order Handling, Record Keeping and Best Execution
Qualifications
- Extensive expertise in Financial Markets with a strong track record within a Global Financial Institution. A particular focus on EM Flow Credit Products and a Non-Bank Financial Institution base is preferred
- Proven experience in fostering collaboration across Geographies and Business functions
- Deep Market knowledge and ability to anticipate trends, develop strategic insight and position the bank as a Thought Leader in the Financial Markets space
- Grasps new concepts and products and executes in delivering to clients. Can generate innovative Trade Ideas and distinguish own capabilities which contribute to Financial Markets performance
- Exceptional Client Engagement skills and ability to build trusted relationships with Client Decision Makers, drive commercial opportunities and deliver tailored solutions
- Expertise in ensuring Regulatory adherence, internal policies and best practices, whilst maintaining a Commercial Mindset
- Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts and engage with diverse audiences
- A results-driven mindset with ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
