We are recruiting for a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager to work in our Utilities Business Unit. As the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be part of our Senior Leadership Team who are responsible for the safe and successful delivery of projects within the Utilities Business Unit.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Establish commercial strategy for projects and agree, amend and monitor the effectiveness
2. Set strategy and lead project teams
3. Manage, develop and lead commercial staff
4. Review contract documents
5. Conduct joint project CVR reviews
6. Prepare aggregated monthly CVR summary reports
7. Maintain a robust forward lookahead of financial year performance
8. Maximise income and cashflow and monitor performance against forecast
9. Deliver commercial training

Your skills & knowledge:

1. Degree or equivalent qualified
2. Work within utilities or T&D
3. Working experience of standard forms of Contract, particularly NEC 3 and 4 (all Secondary Options)
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
5. Experience in undertaking reviews of contract terms and negotiating with Client
6. Proficient in and enthused about leadership and development
7. Full UK Driving Licence

This position would suit a Commercial Manager, Finance Manager, Senior Tendering Manager, Proposals Manager, or Managing Quantity Surveyor.
