If you also have a passion for Roland, our products or music in general, you might just be our perfect match.

THE POSITION: Support DW Drums, PDP, Slingerland, and DWe by providing product expertise, training, and event support to drive sales, brand awareness, and advocacy. Work with the DW Drums product management team to enhance retail performance, dealer knowledge, and market insights, ensuring products are effectively presented, understood, and promoted across key channels.

This role supports the DW product management team, working across DW Drums, PDP, and Slingerland brands, including DWe—DW’s premium electronic drum product line. We are looking for someone with proven experience in a similar role and deep knowledge of DW Drums products, the drum industry, and electronic drum technology.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Retail & Dealer Support

  • Work with the DW product management team to help stores and dealers sell DW Drums, PDP, Slingerland, and DWe products.
  • Deliver expert-level product training on both acoustic and electronic drum products to retail and dealer staff.
  • Ensure all products are properly presented and demoed in stores and partner locations.

Events & Live Demonstrations

  • Represent DW Drums, PDP, Slingerland, and DWe at drum shows, clinics, dealer events, and workshops.
  • Deliver live product demonstrations, including electronic drum technology and drum software, to retailers, media, and drummers.
  • Support relationships with artists, influencers, and key industry professionals.

Product Training & Internal Support

  • Assist the DW product team in creating training materials and documentation for dealer staff and internal teams.
  • Provide training on electronic drum technology and drum software.
  • Help address and resolve product-related queries from sales teams and customers.

Press, Media & Partner Content

  • Facilitate the creation of content for press, media, and retail partners by coordinating with internal teams.
  • Organize and support product demonstrations, artist collaborations, and media opportunities.

Market Research & Product Feedback

  • Stay up-to-date on competitor products, promotions, and market trends across both acoustic and electronic drums.
  • Gather feedback from drummers, dealers, and industry professionals to help improve DW Drums, PDP, Slingerland, and DWe products.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Essential Experience & Knowledge

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the drum or MI industry.
  • Deep knowledge of DW Drums products, including DWe, and the drum industry as a whole.
  • Strong understanding of electronic drum technology and drum software.
  • Experience working with retailers, dealers, and sales teams.
  • Strong drumming ability, confident in demonstrating both acoustic and electronic products in live settings.
  • Comfortable delivering training sessions and product presentations.

Essential Attributes

  • Passionate about DW Drums, PDP, Slingerland, and DWe products and the wider drum industry.
  • Strong communicator who can build relationships across retail, media, and industry professionals.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and proactive.
  • Willing to travel frequently across Europe (and possibly beyond), including weekends.
