Job Overview

Personal assistants are required to support a 19-year-old young lady in the school holidays and occasional weekends. This will include activities at home and out and about on a 2:1 basis, as well as outings with the family.

Responsibilities

1. Engage in outdoor activities, such as walks and swimming.
2. Assist with personal care due to the young lady's needs, including her autism, learning disabilities, and epilepsy.
3. Provide companionship and support during family outings.

Work Schedule

The hours are casual/ad-hoc with flexibility. We are looking to build a bank of personal assistants so individuals can have flexibility in how many hours they wish to work. From September, we are looking for personal assistants to offer wrap-around college care at home on a 1:1 basis. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-9:30am and 3:30pm-5:30pm (3.5 hours per day), term time only.

Pay

The pay rate will be £14.30 per hour.

Requirements

1. Must be comfortable with swimming.
2. Must like dogs.
3. Experience is not essential.
