Steam Audit & Digital Insights Manager

Location: UK (50% of time will be spent travelling to customer sites in UK & Ireland, and/or Cheltenham Headquarters)

Role Overview:

The Steam Audit & Digital Insights Manager will oversee the internal and external audit and digital services team to ensure the successful delivery of Steam Audits; as well as the introduction and analysis of Digital insights data to support the development of digital services.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…

  • Implementation of the EMEA Steam Audit and Digital strategy across UK & ROI Sales
  • Providing technical and customer insight into the development of the EMEA strategy
  • The integration of digital products and services into UK & ROI services team in collaboration with wider UK & ROI Sales, Business Development and EMEA Centre of Excellence
  • Undertaking site audits alongside team members on large/complex sites or strategic customers
  • Providing technical interface with external sales teams and customers, presenting audit recommendations on complex audits and/or to strategic clients
  • Delivering training to external sales ensuring understanding of audit/digital offerings, NPI initiatives, upsell opportunities and develop audit order pipeline
  • Providing consultative advice to customers on best practice utilisation of audit and digital services to support the customers’ decarbonisation journeys

Your previous experience is likely to include….

  • Completion of a relevant qualification, such as Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Steam and Audit experience
  • Experience working in Technical, Service, Sales or Audit Engineering roles
  • Management of a small team of colleagues with technical output
  • Managing the safety of an external team, including training, PPE, SSoW, compliance and risk management

To be successful in this role you will…

  • Demonstrate Company Core Values at all times
  • Hold a full UK driving license and commit to spending 50% of working hours travelling across the UK and overnight stays as required
  • Be a Certified Energy Manager or Energy Institute Energy Manager (Level 2 preferable)
  • Demonstrate a broad understanding of Steam Thermal Solutions and relevant products, applications and systems; including safety applications and sustainability implications
  • Be confident with monthly reporting on Audit & Digital KPIs
  • Coach and support your team and colleagues to meet performance objectives and develop in line with their personal development plans
  • Champion self-development and customer focus
