Job description

Our vision is to be the universal symbol of trust, bringing consumers and businesses together through reviews. We are well on our way—but there’s still an exciting journey ahead. Join us at the heart of trust.

We are growing our engineering teams at Trustpilot and are looking to invite mid-level Fullstack Software Engineers to join our B2B Integrations team!

The Integrations team's mission is to empower businesses of all sizes—from sole traders to global enterprises—to seamlessly incorporate Trustpilot into their customer feedback workflows and tools. We aim to provide highly reliable and user-friendly integrations for popular platforms, including Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). By joining our team, you'll tackle the challenge of creating a unified event-driven architecture to support these diverse integrations, and gain the opportunity to work with a variety of software platforms and coding languages.

You will join a cross-functional team with full ownership of our products and codebase, where you will take part in every step of the development process, from ideation to maintenance. A place where you can grow as an individual, while also having an influence on the direction of projects and technological choices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will guide mid-sized projects that will align with the mission and OKRs of your team.
  • Work in a cross-functional “full ownership” team alongside Product, Design, and Data teams where you will take part in every step of the process of building, from ideation and design to architecture, code, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaboration: Take part in decision-making and design discussions during the development.
  • Contribute to planning, implementation, and release of new features.
  • Propose ideas clearly and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
  • Troubleshoot existing software.
  • Assist us in raising the bar: Inspire and influence those around you with your knowledge of how to solve problems.
  • Data-driven mindset: Analyse, gather, and aggregate data to support decisions, both technical and non-technical.

Who you are:

  • A customer-centric, solution-oriented mindset with a bias for action.
  • You are a lifelong learner. You promote a culture of continuous feedback and learning.
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic about your work. You constantly look to raise the bar for yourself and those around you in everything you do.
  • A desire to solve problems. You are committed to finding solutions, exploring all avenues, and reaching out for help when needed.
  • You believe that diversity in teams makes a difference.
  • Enthusiastic to collaborate across the full web development stack.
  • Cloud expertise, specifically hands-on experience with serverless architecture, data pipelines, and event-driven systems.
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies like Node.js and component-based front-end development using React.
  • Experience leading feature development and deploying software to production at scale.
  • Understands CI/CD pipelines, post-deployment monitoring, and incident management.
  • Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and distributed cloud services.

Some relevant technologies and services we use:

  • Infrastructure: AWS (ECS, Lambda, SNS, SQS, CloudFormation, ...), Docker.
  • Frontend: React, SSR, CSS Modules, Sass, CSS-in-JS (Emotion, Styled Components).

Experience in the following is not a requirement, but it will help you stand out:

  • Familiarity with Ecommerce (Shopify, Prestashop, etc) app development.
  • Familiarity with CRM (HubSpot, ZenDesk, etc) app development.
  • Salesforce App Development.
  • Experience with PHP or similar web development scripting languages.

What’s in it for you:

  • A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you.
  • Competitive compensation package + bonus.
  • 25 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days after 2 years of employment.
  • Two (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community.
  • Rich learning and development opportunities are supported through the Trustpilot Academy, LinkedIn Learning, and Blinkist.
  • Pension and life insurance.
  • Health cash plan, online GP, 24/7, Employee Assistance Plan.
  • Full access to Headspace, a popular mindfulness app to promote positive mental health.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Season ticket loan and a cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Central office location complete with table tennis, a gaming corner, coffee bars and all the snacks and refreshments you can ask for.
  • Regular opportunities to connect and get to know your fellow Trusties, including company-wide celebrations and events, ERG activities, and team socials.
  • Access to over 4,000 deals and discounts on things like travel, electronics, fashion, fitness, cinema discounts, and more.
  • Independent financial advice and free standard professional mortgage broker advice.

Still not sure?

We want to be a part of creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world of work for all. We’re excited to hear about your experiences as well as how you will contribute to our working culture.
