Hays Senior Finance are partnering with a growing SME based in North Leeds, seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller or Finance Manager ready for a step-up, to lead a transactional team of finance professionals in a thriving and fast-paced environment.

Given the sector and pace of the role, this is a site-based position, and the newly appointed FC will work with the FD to achieve strategic objectives. This is a wonderful opportunity for an ambitious individual seeking a step-up or onward growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Lead and manage a team of transactional finance professionals.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive financial performance.

Requirements:
  • Qualified via CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
  • Post-qualification experience in a similar role within an SME environment.
  • Able to work in North Leeds 5 days per week.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a finance team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The right to work in the UK, with citizenship, ILR or Pre/settlement status.
