An established dining choice in the region is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join their team. This role is perfect for a strong Chef de Partie looking to step up in their career. You will work closely with the Head Chef and have the opportunity to learn essential kitchen management skills while contributing to menu development. A Sous Chef is required to join the kitchen of a fresh food pub that is well established as a dining choice in the region. In this role, you will work closely with the Head Chef and the owner of the property to ensure that the kitchen is running smoothly with dishes reaching the cooking standards expected consistently. This role would be an ideal first Sous Chef role for a strong Chef de Partie seeking the next step in their career in a property where you can learn basic kitchen management skills and will be given input on the development of the menus. The pub is known for serving modern Brasserie and traditional pub meals in the restaurant as well as catering for some small functions.
Requirements:
Strong Chef de Parties, Junior Sous Chefs, or experienced Sous Chefs would all be considered for this role. All chefs applying for the role must have experience working in busy pubs or restaurants that serve all fresh food. Good knowledge of a number of sections in the kitchen is essential for this role.
