Job Description
The Data Protection Administrator will:
Work with the Compliance manager to support data protection activities within the company.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws and regulations.
Assist with the development and implementation of data protection policies and procedures.
Respond to DSARs.
Support on DPIAs.
Provide data protection training to staff members.
Handle data protection enquiries and complaints.
Monitor changes in data protection laws and regulations and advise the company accordingly.
Report to management on data protection issues and performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Data Protection Administrator should have:
A degree in law, information technology, or a related field.
Knowledge and understanding of GDPR and other data protection laws and regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and implement data protection policies and procedures.
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to conduct data protection audits and risk assessments.
Capability to handle data protection enquiries and complaints.
