Main duties of the job

Are you dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders? We’re looking for a passionate professional to join our multi-disciplinary team in Oldham, where your expertise will make a meaningful impact on families and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

As a core member of our team, you will conduct comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people. Utilising evidence-based practices, you will deliver insightful evaluations and recommendations that guide appropriate interventions. Your work will empower families, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to flourish.

  • NMC registered nursing qualification and registration
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Experience of working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Experience of working as a community practitioner
  • Experience of case management of young people
  • Experience of delivering parent training
  • Experience of multi-agency working
  • Ability to undertake appropriate health assessments
  • Relevant experience working with children with complex needs and their families.
  • Strong underpinning knowledge of child development.
  • Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice
  • Experience of working with external agencies to support the needs of children
  • Experience of working in a multi-agency team
  • Experience of leading and facilitating multi-agency meetings to support children/young people and their families.
  • Experience of working with families and professionals in a collaborative way
  • Ability to manage conflict
