The Not Forgotten (TNF) enriches the lives of injured service personnel. We provide entertainment and recreational activities for a broad demographic of wounded, injured and sick serving personnel and veterans from the Tri-Service and Merchant Navy community.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the charity/fundraising sector, looking to progress and develop a career focusing on community and individual giving activity. You should want to use and grow your knowledge and aim to achieve excellent standards of fundraising through relationship building.
You will be passionate about continuous improvement, have a proactive attitude and be comfortable in suggesting new and/or better ways of working. You will enjoy a challenging and fulfilling environment, working with a supportive and forward-thinking team. You will have experience of planning and implementing projects and in providing high levels of stewardship with the beneficiary firmly at the heart of everything we do. TNF are looking for an individual community fundraising expert, people-centric communicator, exceptional team player and used to managing the end-to-end fundraising events and activities. With the ability to research, identify and reach potential new supporter groups within the community.

TNF are committed to ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all our beneficiaries, this includes developing, implementing, and maintaining effective recruitment policies and procedures to promote the safeguarding of these beneficiaries. Before commencing employment, the Head of Business Operations & Finance undertakes pre-employment checks on all applicants who have been offered a role with the Charity. These checks include an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), which will be renewed every 3 years, the right to live and work in the UK, as well as two satisfactory references.
All staff will be required to complete training on Safeguarding Adults at Risk within their first week of employment.
