Job Title: CNC Turner Setter/Operator
Salary: £12.50 - £16.50 per hour
Location: Bridgewater
Our Client: Our client is a precision engineering subcontract machine shop that specialises in high quality turning and 5 axis CNC machining in the aerospace, motorsport, defence, and commercial customer bases. Priding themselves on investing in the best equipment, tooling, and training along with having a motivated and skilled workforce. Following continued expansion of the capacity with the purchase of 2 further mill turn machines and another 5 axis machining centre, capabilities, and an expanding order book, we look forward to finding a new CNC turning setter to help them fulfil this expanding order book.
Your Role as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator: To control the production of programs and conforming parts on the machines, ensuring that the organisation meets its customers' expectations of quality and delivery within their team. To work with the Production Manager, Setter/Operators, other Operators, and others in the department in promoting a right first-time approach to all tasks within the department. To adhere to the techniques used within the business, comply with the practices used, and promote a continuous improvement ethos within the business. To be willing to learn and become more skilled through training. To work within an AS9100 quality environment.
Key Duties for the CNC Turner Setter/Operator:
Requirements for the CNC Turner Setter/Operator:
Minimum of 5 years' experience of setting and operating Fanuc CNC Lathe Controls. Minimum 5 years setting and operating CNC Lathes. This is a role that needs skilled programmers/setters.
