Chief Financial Officer

A rare opportunity has arisen to join a reputable and well-known government organisation as Chief Finance Officer.

Reporting directly into the organisation’s CEO, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance leader looking to head up a public sector organisation’s finance function.

This is a broad role, specifically focused around managing public finance, therefore we are looking for a qualified accountant with proven experience working within a public sector organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the organisation’s finance operations
• Responsible for all statutory reporting for the organisation
• Line management of a small team
• Overseeing the internal audit process
• Providing strategic insights, supporting the CEO in strategic decision making
• Working with both internal and external stakeholders

This is a crucial role within the business, and as such we are looking for an experienced public sector accountant, with experience working within a senior position. You will be a fully qualified accountant with non-profit/public sector experience.
