FP&A / Financial Modelling (6 month FTC)

A high growth wealth management business is looking for an experienced FP&A pro with financial modelling abilities for a 6 month role (FTC) with potential to convert to a permanent hire. The business has been scaling through acquisitions in the last few years, with a vibrant, positive and dynamic working culture and close-knit Finance team.

The focus of this role will be to upgrade and improve their current analytics suite, putting in place more robust reporting and helping the FD to create a proper FP&A function that can eventually roll into BAU.

The likely candidate is someone with experience in a FP&A or similar role in financial services with the ability to build and tweak basic financial models.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the annual financial budget and quarterly forecast for the Group
• Develop KPIs / MI packs for different areas of the business to support their ability to meet strategic targets
• Develop and maintain the financial model for budgeting, forecasting and future fundraising efforts
• Assist in the business acquisition strategy by providing financial analysis pre and post acquisition, including KPIs / MI tracking for the business acquired
• Preparing and developing ad hoc financial modelling as required by various business projects
• Support with ongoing projects related to growth, i.e., systems/processes

Your background:

• Qualified Accountant with at least 4 to 5 years+ PQE or equivalent
• A background working in financial services - wealth or asset management highly advantageous
• Strong analytical and modelling skills - this is key and you must be able to create basic financial models
• Personable, with the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals and communicate effectively
• Good organisational abilities and happy working in a fluid operating environment
• Able to start this role within a month

Salary on offer is c£80-90k on a FTC basis. Central London location.
