An amazing specialist school in Reading is looking to take on an Autism Specialist Assistant in the coming academic year to support their students. The school provides education to young people with autism and learning difficulties. The students, aged 5-18, attending the school perform better with consistent guidance and support, which is where YOU will come in! The position of Autism Specialist Assistant is a full-time opportunity, supporting students on a 1-1 basis. The successful Autism Specialist Assistant will be responsible for helping students to achieve their potential. This will include keeping them focused on tasks, encouraging independence and confidence, practicing self-regulation, and identifying areas of improvement.
