Salary: £10,983.72 - £11,820.53 per year pro rata

Job Description

Can you make a difference to young people with additional support needs?

This position is to ensure the provision of health care support to children and young people with complex medical conditions in order to maintain health and support access to the curriculum.

The successful candidate will be competent in the delivery of tasks to support daily living which can include tracheotomy care and suction, catheterisation, support for children that are oxygen dependent and the delivery of individualised feeding programmes.

You will also be required to provide support and guidance to support staff in the delivery of tasks to support specific health conditions.

You will work closely with school management and external partners to ensure the ongoing health needs of children are met and to inform the delivery of health support plans.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and experience of working within an educational/care environment.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
