Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to work on behalf of our client, a leading company specializing in industrial robotic welding machines. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and commissioning high-tech robotic welding systems, as well as diagnosing and addressing electrical faults. Proficiency in electrical fault finding and the ability to interpret electrical schematics are essential for this position. You will travel regularly across the UK and Ireland, with up to three nights away from home per week. This role offers a dynamic work environment, continuous training, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the business.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills:
- Basic electrical and mechanical expertise, with a strong emphasis on electrical fault finding and schematic interpretation
- Ability to perform maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on industrial machinery
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for hands-on engineering work
- Good standard of written and spoken English for effective communication
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with robotic or automation systems (training will be provided)
- Knowledge of industrial welding processes is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Hours of Work:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: Early finish at 1:30 PM for a better work-life balance
