Senior Support Worker
Up to £27,033.24 per annum

Meridian Business Support are working with an established social care client who are looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
Independent residential children's homes and schools for young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated learning difficulties; all staff contribute to the provision of a supportive, caring, learning environment. Our homes are in Heanor and Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
Purpose of Job
The post holder will actively promote the rights of young people as individuals and provide them with quality care in accordance with the policies and procedures of the organisation. To assist in the management of provision of a safe and homely environment to help young people achieve their potential by strengthening areas of weakness and developing areas of strength. The Senior Support Worker will be expected to achieve positive outcomes for all young people by leading by example, always providing professionalism, and ensuring high levels of commitment, good childcare practice and safeguarding to young people.
