Chapman Tate Associates are working alongside an established IT Solutions Provider of Hybrid Cloud Services, Cyber Security, Software Development, IT Hosted Services, and Digital Transformation Services.

You will be a key Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer where you will oversee and mentor junior members of the team, with exposure to over 300 clients.

This is a varied role that will include a range of support to a varied clientele where you will resolve issues with customers' IT Infrastructure.

The role will include 3rd and 4th-Level work around the following:

1. Involvement in ensuring the successful operation of clients' critical IT infrastructure on a day-to-day basis.
2. Identifying areas where technology can improve their business performance and carrying out the associated technical implementations.
3. Working with clients alongside their IT team while being supported by technical experts.
4. Providing technical escalation for our own service desk while dealing with critical systems within an industrial environment.
5. Setting up solutions from the ground up.

My client is ideally looking for someone that has experience of working for a MSP (Managed Service Provider), VAR (Value Added Reseller), or some form of IT Consultancy.

The majority of my client's customers are based in the Midlands regions and surrounding counties.

Technically you will have experience around the following:

1. VMware / Hyper-V and similar virtualization technologies.
2. Routing and Switching experience around HP and Aruba (ideally) based hardware.
3. VLAN, VPN and Firewall experience (any IPsec Tunneling experience would be great).
4. Windows Server based systems including DNS, DHCP, IIS, NPS, RDS, DFS, Hyper-V.
5. Active Directory with multiple forests and forests with multiple domains.
6. SAN and Clustering technologies (Dell/EMC and/or HP SANs).
7. Backup experience with a Vendor such as Veeam or Veritas.
