Service Delivery Manager

East London

£44,822 - £47,181 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our Day to Day (DTD) Operations team. As Service Delivery Manager you will cover different sites across the area. Your daily activities will include coordinating the operatives on repairs/installations and organising the team to work on all stock across the region, carrying out first time fix repairs where possible for our customers, reacting to and dealing with emergencies as they arise.

1 in every 4-6 weeks will be on an out of hours rota, this will be phone based taking calls from operatives and the CSC. You will be provided with a company van and will have opportunities to develop your career within Sanctuary.

The role of Service Delivery Manager will include:

  • Overseeing repairs and refurbishment projects, ensuring they are carried out to a high standard.
  • Inspecting works completed to ensure these represent value for money e.g. efficient use of materials.
  • Maintaining compliance for health and safety, ensuring this is promoted and adhered to.
  • Handling complaints and breakdowns in service to meet customer expectations.
  • Working with colleagues to ensure work is arranged, prioritised and completed in an efficient manner.

Skills and experiences:

  • To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must hold ILM membership (The Institute of Leadership) and be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject, currently undertaking these qualifications or prepared to undertake the qualifications with the support of Sanctuary Group. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application.
  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role, preferably within a building maintenance or facilities management environment.
  • Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.
  • Electrical qualification would be an advantage.
  • Basic user of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar).
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.

As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.

  • Role salary is £43,585 with an additional policy allowance of £1,237 per annum (rising to £45,879 with an additional policy allowance of £1,302 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance).
