Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts: 6 AM - 2 PM & 2 PM - 10 PM) with flexibility

Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our forward-thinking client in Huddersfield looking after their tooling and maintenance.

What You'll Do:

1. Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and premises.
2. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
3. Diagnose and resolve electro-mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
4. Actively participate in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and improvement initiatives.
5. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient, safe, and productive workplace.

What You'll Bring:
Essential Skills:

1. Strong understanding of safety and quality standards.
2. Expertise in electro-mechanical systems and equipment maintenance.
3. Experience in TPM and continuous improvement processes.
4. A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

1. Knowledge of power presses and metal forming equipment.
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Welding and abrasive wheel training.
4. Health and Safety Committee involvement.

Qualifications:

1. Relevant engineering qualifications are required.
