ONE TO ONE TEACHING ASSISTANT

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday

Role Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one mentoring and support to pupils.
• Monitor and report on pupils’ progress, liaising with school staff to ensure their needs are met.
• Assist with lesson planning and classroom preparation.
• Use behaviour management techniques to support engagement and learning.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, fostering confidence and a love for learning.

Requirements

• Minimum GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
• Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
