Key Responsibilities:
  • All activities are performed in accordance with statutory, regulatory and company regulations and procedures.
  • Safe working environment by promoting and encouraging highest level of housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with Quality Policies and Procedures.
  • Receive goods ordered by the company through purchasing or supplied through the client as identified by the Project Managers into the warehouse and in accordance with the correct storage conditions.
  • Ensure the receipt, check and inventory actions are performed within agreed client timelines.
  • Cover for colleagues during periods of absence to ensure service levels are maintained.
  • Assist in any warehouse duties as required.
  • Run Month End Strategy Reports.
  • Regular mentoring meetings with management.
  • Projects as and when required.
  • Pallet Control – Inventory / non-inventory including Plastic.
  • Wood waste, plastic waste, card waste and metal waste monitor and record data.
  • Directs and Co-ordinates all Packaging, Pharm and API requirements.
  • Weekly meetings with management.
  • When representing management appreciates that some information is very sensitive and a level of discretion is required in handling confidential information.
  • Manages all areas of Warehouse & Distribution supports Chemical, Pharm and Packaging, Clinical Trial activities.
  • Safety Tours organized every month. Risk assessments done as and when required.
  • Training as required.
  • Reschedule and organize work activities / shifts to provide cover for any training, sickness needs.
  • Trackwise: Deviation / CR’s.
  • Support the induction process of new starters within your department.
Critical Tasks:
  • Ensure licenses are valid and up to date.
  • Ensure that all relevant documentation is complete in a timely and accurate manner and compliant with GMP standards.
  • Check the receipts for the goods supplied (raw materials, intermediates and finished goods) and input details into inventory system in an accurate manner ensuring relevant document is passed to Quality Assurance.
  • Ensure all system activity is entered daily.
  • Ensure you have read and understood all documentation relating to your working area.
Key Result Areas & Measures (Quantitative/KPI/Qualitative):
  • All accidents and near misses are recorded and a full investigation is completed.
  • Perform all warehouse activities with the objective of achieving right first time.
Qualifications:
Relevant Experience:
  • Proven safety culture.
  • Relevant GMP controlled industry experience.
  • Understanding of warehousing processes/ operations.
  • Understanding of inventory management.
  • Forklift certification.
  • SAP/ WMS knowledge.
  • Experience in lean six sigma.
