Job description

Location: Bolton (Outskirts)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: From £23,500 (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (Flexible Working Patterns Available)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Claims Specialist to join a growing team. If you have a background in personal injury and motor claims handling, this role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career with a forward-thinking company that values professional growth and rewards achievements.

As part of this role, you will manage a caseload of Third-Party Vehicle Damage and Property Damage claims, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver outstanding service. You will also handle complex liability and high-value cases, ensuring claims are processed efficiently and fairly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of Third-Party Vehicle Damage and Property Damage claims.
  2. Conduct thorough liability investigations and liaise with relevant departments.
  3. Handle complex claims, including liability disputes and high-value cases.
  4. Work with solicitors, insurers, and accident management companies.
  5. Identify and refer potentially fraudulent activity.
  6. Ensure a consistently high level of customer service throughout the claims process.

What We're Looking For:
  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in motor claims handling (for higher salary consideration).
  2. Strong customer service and communication skills.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple claims effectively.
  4. Active listening and relationship-building skills.
  5. CII Certificate (or willingness to work towards it, supported by the company).
  6. GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
