Reason for Vacancy

As the digital transformation revolution gathers pace, there is a growing need to provide our customers with capabilities that extend beyond a knowledge of ERP and its traditional implementation approach.

Job Purpose

Responsible for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring:

1. A quality delivery across all customer engagements
2. Achievement of profitable services performance
3. High customer satisfaction levels on implementation
4. Achievement of key project objectives
5. Motivation of individual members of the project delivery team

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the planning and implementation of projects
2. Facilitate the definition of project scope, risks, goals and deliverables
3. Define project tasks and resource requirements
4. Develop full scale project plans
5. Assemble and coordinate project staff
6. Manage project budget
7. Manage project resource allocation
8. Track project deliverables and issues using appropriate tools
9. Provide direction and support to project team
10. Quality assurance
11. Constantly monitor and report on progress of the projects to all stakeholders
12. Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
13. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
14. Project evaluations and assessment of result
15. Ensure HSO Project Methodology is fully documented, used in all relevant pieces of work and understood and used by all the Consultants on the project.

Essential

1. 5+ years of hands-on software implementation experience with ERP Solutions
2. A deep understanding of ERP software implementation project life cycles and methodologies
3. Extensive track record of delivering complex large scale projects, to time and budget
4. Formal Project Management training (such as PMP, Prince2)
5. 10+ years PQE

Desirable

1. Educated to degree level, preferably in an IT related field and/or business
2. Management of at least two full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation projects
3. Certified in Microsoft’s SureStep implementation methodology
4. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX
5. Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX2012
6. Retail / rental / service background
7. Experience of projects of more than 1000 man days, £1m in licence revenue
8. Multi-phased methodology
