Overview
- Act as a Customer Adviser on specific nominated accounts and support other members of the division on accounts as appropriate.
- Manage a range of customer enquiries via telephone, email, and post, always providing excellent customer service.
- Develop the account through existing client contacts and contribute to maximising growth through converting new business enquiries, cross-selling, and upselling of relevant ancillary products.
- Share responsibility for the achievement of the business plan and budget of the Division.
- Operate within the Company’s systems and procedures regarding service standards, quality of documentation, credit control, and support of key insurance markets.
- Check policy documents for accuracy and breadth of cover.
- Provide assistance to the Claims department with any relevant claims.
- Update client records with accurate information received from insurers, including new business, adjustments, and renewals.
- Transfer copy and documents into the client electronic file.
- Promote and support the Division both internally and externally to clients, the insurance market, and other third parties.
The Role
- Play a major role in ensuring first-class service to clients, projecting the organisation as a quality company.
- Answer calls from customers, reply to email requests or queries, and complete renewals and new business quotes.
- Designated responsibility for the existing client base, including retention.
- Develop the account through existing client contacts by contributing to the division’s growth through converting new business enquiries, cross-selling, and upselling of relevant ancillary products.
- Deal with enquiries appropriate to experience and expertise with designated broking and placing as suitable within available markets.
- Build relationships with clients by managing day-to-day queries accurately and efficiently, either by telephone or written correspondence.
- Administer new business, MTA’s, and renewals.
- Maintain good credit control within your client portfolio.
- Ensure advice given meets clients’ requirements in all cases and that recommendations and reasons are documented.
- Conduct fair analysis of the market with all potentially suitable products considered.
