About The Firm

We are a well-established Venture Capital fund with a strong track record of investing in high-growth, innovative businesses. With considerable capital ready to deploy, we are focused on identifying and supporting the most promising companies across various sectors. We are now seeking an Investment Director to lead deal origination, execution, and portfolio management. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping investments and driving value creation across our portfolio.

Role Overview

As an Investment Director, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments, as well as actively managing portfolio companies. You will work closely with the investment team to identify opportunities, assess financial viability, and support companies post-investment to maximise returns.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Origination & Deal Sourcing: Identify and develop high-potential investment opportunities across target sectors.
  2. Investment Execution: Lead the due diligence process, financial modelling, valuation, and negotiation of investment terms.
  3. Portfolio Management: Work closely with portfolio companies to provide strategic and financial guidance, supporting growth and scaling efforts.
  4. Market & Sector Research: Stay ahead of emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and sector dynamics to inform investment decisions.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, co-investors, and industry experts to enhance deal flow and portfolio success.

Key Requirements

  1. Investment Experience: Proven track record in venture capital, private equity, or growth investment.
  2. Professional Background: Must have 10+ years experience from a Big 4 firm (Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or M&A) or a Private Equity/Venture Capital firm.
  3. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of financial analysis, valuations, deal structuring, and risk assessment.
  4. Commercial Acumen: Ability to evaluate market opportunities and drive value creation within portfolio companies.
  5. Leadership & Influence: Ability to work closely with founders, management teams, and co-investors to achieve strategic objectives.
  6. Network & Market Presence: Strong connections within the investment and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
