Ecological Clerk of Works/Environmental Advisor – Fulltime Position
Nàdarra Ecology are a small environmental consultancy based in Dumfries and Galloway.
We are looking for an experienced Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW)/Environmental Advisor with a pragmatic approach to problem solving and good people skills to join our expanding Nàdarra Ecology Team. As a key member of the team, you will work on various exciting infrastructure projects across Scotland, including renewable energy projects (wind and solar), marine (harbour) projects, reservoir projects and grid infrastructure projects. Nàdarra Ecology is based in Dumfries and Galloway and the role would primarily be a site-based post working initially on projects in Southern and Central Scotland but with the potential to work throughout Scotland, including the Scottish Islands. Nàdarra Ecology have an office in Dumfries but working from home when not on site would be considered.
As well as the ECoW role you would be required to undertake detailed ecological surveys, protected species licencing and reporting, assisted by our ecologist where required. At Nàdarra Ecology, our Ecology Team work on a variety of projects, undertaking ecological surveys for large-scale complex commercial developments including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. We undertake all aspects of ecological consultancy and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and statutory requirements.
