Job Description

Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts.
Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Developing and maintaining internal control systems.
Assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Coordinating with external auditors to facilitate audits.
Participating in the formulation of strategic business plans.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Liaising with various department heads to streamline financial operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Working towards professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA. (Ideally PQ Level)
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
