The Opportunity:

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Shaping the architecture strategy across multiple platforms, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions
2. Designing and optimising cloud-native applications with a focus on high availability and cost efficiency
3. Leading technical decision-making, balancing innovation with commercial value
4. Collaborating with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to deliver seamless, data-driven customer experiences
5. Keeping us ahead of the curve, staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
6. Contributing to our engineering culture, whether through mentorship, open-source engagement, blogs, or meetups

The details:

• Manchester | Hybrid (2 days a week onsite)
• Up to £95k + Bonus
• Must be based in the UK without visa or sponsorship requirements

What You Bring:

1. Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Principal Engineer in large-scale environments
2. Deep knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, and RESTful APIs
3. Ability to turn complex business needs into scalable, high-performing solutions
4. Strong leadership and communication skills, comfortable engaging with engineers and business leaders alike
