About the role

Your role will be to manage the delivery of Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services across HIOWC, promoting and maintaining the health and safety of our workforce. You will implement effective occupational health programmes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a culture of well-being across the organisation.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Provide leadership and clinical supervision for the team of Occupational Health professionals, including Occupational Health Advisors, Mental Health Nurse, and technicians.
2. Undertake complex/critical clinical casework.
3. Write, manage, and update occupational health policies and procedures.
4. Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice.
5. Work collaboratively with people services, Health & Safety, managers, and others as relevant to implement proactive measures for workplace health and injury reduction.
6. Attend and represent HIOWC at a national and regional level.
