The Role:

This is a standout opportunity for a Contentious Insurance Senior Associate to join this top 20 City of London law firm.

Within this role, you will have a very high degree of autonomy and client involvement, and you will often be involved in a wide array of disputes, that will involve complex international matters.

Their client base boasts some of the world's major insurance companies, as well as acting for a number of broker groups and top retail distributors. You will be working on a mixture of general insurance work, defence work, commercial disputes, and commercial disputes for firms focused on financial services. Some of the work that you will do may include providing coverage advice and analysis on a variety of policy wordings including D&O, Construction programmes (including CAR, combined liability, PI), PTL, Crime, Property/BI, Professional indemnity across key Sectors such as Infrastructure and Energy, W&I, Cyber Liability and Employer's liability.

The Ideal Candidate:
  1. A qualified solicitor (UK qualification) with 5+ years of PQE in Contentious Insurance.
  2. You will have good organisational skills.
  3. You will have enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work.
