You will be joining a team supported by the company’s Operations Manager and Clinical Co-Founder/CEO.

Role/Mission

An extremely exciting opportunity for candidates to build a career in manufacturing operations within the Medical Technology sector. The role comes with a clear roadmap for career progression and incremental pay increase. Product Technicians will enter the company at a Level 1 grade for a minimum of 1 year, with the opportunity to progress to Level 2 and Level 3 thereafter through the demonstration of competencies across an increasing range of skills and technical processes. Level 2 and Level 3 Product Technician roles will offer the chance to increase base salary.

The core mission of the Product Technician is to learn all manufacturing processes for the full Inovus product range, supported by product engineers and the company’s Operations Manager. The role will include learning about and performing critical manufacturing tasks, including:

1. Processing acrylic plastics and producing acrylic sub-assemblies.
2. Performing production level 3D printing processes, including the post-processing of printed parts, such as polishing and dyeing.
3. Producing medical models using silicone and pigments, casting materials into moulds and assembling models.
4. Assembling mechanical and electronic components for the company’s flagship LapAR simulator.
5. Assembling electrical components, such as circuit boards for cameras, using soldering irons and pick and place machinery.
6. Labelling products accurately, maintaining stock levels (stock control) and taking an active role in the goods-in and goods-out processes.
7. Fulfilling company orders by packaging simulators and products appropriately prior to dispatch.

Minimum Education/ Experience Requirements:

1. The minimum qualification standards for this role are five GCSEs A*-C.
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing role or warehouse environment is desirable but not mandatory.
3. Experience of using laser cutters, working with silicone materials, and assembling electrical components would be advantageous but not mandatory.
4. We are looking for a highly driven individual with a strong motivation to expand their skill set to add value to our growing manufacturing team.
5. Fluency in written & spoken English.
