This Electrical Design Engineer job will suit:

1. An Electrical Engineer / Electronics Engineer with experience of working within an electrical design focused role.
2. Strong experience of using CAD to produce electrical designs and drawings. Experience of using AutoCAD Electrical would be advantageous.
3. Any specific experience of electrical design for bespoke equipment, machinery, electrical power, transmission, and distribution or similar applications would be beneficial.
4. You will have a recognised qualification (Apprenticeship / HND / Degree) in an electrical/electronic engineering or similar engineering discipline.

Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

1. You will have an important role in producing innovative electrical design solutions for industrial applications across a diverse range of industry sectors.
2. Produce electrical wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical and component layouts.
3. Produce design calculations and production documentation.
4. Support research, development, and product testing.
5. Carry out product technical investigations, root cause analysis, and undertake corrective design and development actions.
