Job description

Our client, a leading global technology company, is seeking a highly motivated Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced financial professional to contribute to project profitability analysis, financial reporting, and process optimisation within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Register business opportunities and projects in Salesforce and SAP.
  2. Manage the Project Master Tracker, ensuring accurate records of billing, sales revenue, costs, and expected profit.
  3. Process direct costs, including purchase order requests and inspection request submissions.
  4. Verify expense details and manage intercompany cost recharges.
  5. Prepare billing and upload invoices to customer-owned systems.
  6. Support project managers in managing accounts receivable (AR) overdue.
  7. Create rolling financial plans and monitor revenue and cost recognition.
  8. Assist with month-end financial closing, including labour cost allocation and accrual preparation.
  9. Generate financial reports, analysing variances between forecasts, annual plans, and actual figures.
  10. Prepare the annual financial plan for the following year.
Required Skills and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
  3. Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications (essential).
  6. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is desirable.
Hours & Benefits:
  1. 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility required for urgent projects.
  2. 25 days plus bank holidays.
