Job description

Audit File Reviewer – Remote role with travel

A highly successful, rapidly growing business that provides expert services to the Accounting industry is looking for an Audit Lead to join their team.

Please note – this role offers remote working (home working, hybrid working, flexible working) but with regular travel within the UK, including to their Midlands based HQ.

As the Audit Lead, you will be responsible for performing high-quality independent and objective file reviews to evaluate accountancy practices' compliance with regulatory standards.

To be suitable, you must demonstrate excellent technical knowledge in the field of audit and accounts as well as compliance regulation. You must have the ability to grasp changes and have the required skill to translate knowledge into written and verbal practical guidance to meet the needs of accountancy practitioners. You will have the ability to undertake a high degree of research to stay abreast of the changing regulations and demonstrate outstanding commercial awareness of the UK accounting profession.

The ideal candidate will be professionally qualified to ACA or ACCA standard or equivalent and will have a minimum of two years post-qualification experience. You will have the ability to articulate technical knowledge clearly and practically to a range of client firms and situations and will have demonstrable experience reviewing audit files or compliance work in practice.

Salary offered is between £68,000 - £72,000 + car allowance and a wide-ranging benefits package.
