Army Benevolent Fund – Events Assistant South-West (part time)

The Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) is the Army’s national charity, supporting soldiers, veterans, and their immediate families, in times of need. The Charity operates a regional structure across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, with its central office in London.

In this dynamic role, you will be at the heart of our regional fundraising and engagement efforts, supporting events, volunteers, and administrative functions. You will collaborate closely with the Regional Director, coordinating events, managing supporter communications, fostering engagement, and strengthening relationships with supporters. If you have good organisational skills, enjoy collaborating with people, and are passionate about supporting the Army community, this is your chance to make a real impact.

The starting salary is £27,500 (pro rata). After a probationary period of 6 months, the successful candidate will benefit from the Charity’s full range of employment benefits including an income protection scheme and an employer contribution pension. There will also be opportunities to participate in key Charity events and activities with a TOIL scheme in place.

This is a part-time post for 21 hours per week, based at the Charity’s Office in Bulford. This role is on a permanent contract subject to a six-month probationary period. A driving licence and flexibility for occasional weekend work across the Southwest is required.
