Oban Dental Clinic was the first clinic to become part of the Scottish Dental Care group in 2016. Situated on the west coast of Scotland, Oban is a busy tourist town and is the gateway to the highlands and islands of Scotland's west coast. With the highlands on your doorstep, you will experience a fantastic quality of life in Oban - the bay, the islands, the white-sand beaches, the lochs, and the highlands will provide the ingredients for a rich outdoor life.
Within an hour you can drive to Glencoe to the north, or to Loch Awe and Loch Lomond to the south. Hop on a ferry for a day trip to the Isles of Mull, Colonsay, Lismore, or Tiree. The nearest city is Glasgow, and there are good transport links throughout Scotland and beyond.
Our 4-surgery clinic is a superb modern facility within the busy Lorn and Islands Hospital. You will join a team of medical professionals and will receive fantastic medical support from your colleagues. The surgeries are bright, modern, air-conditioned, and equipped with modern technology including the use of an iTero scanner.
Joining a well-established and committed team, this clinic offers all aspects of general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and more advanced procedures. We have a Dentist with a special interest in dental implants, and our Co-Founder and Clinical Director, Dr Philip Friel, also visits Oban regularly to place dental implants.
Oban is a tight-knit local community where word of mouth is extremely important. You would be expected to be a team player who endeavours to provide the very best possible care to our patients.
