Junior Baker

JUNIOR BAKER Approx 40 hours per week.

We are looking for a Junior Baker to work in our baking department, this involves learning how to make our cookies and cookie pies.

Anyone who has recently completed the Professional Bakery or Patisserie and Confectionary course at Leeds City College could be suitable.

We seek someone who is self-motivated to improve techniques and consistency and is prepared to be trained to a high standard so they can quickly make products independently.

Please note the general hours for this role are 8 am to 4 pm, including some weekends.

This is a physically demanding role, and a good level of general fitness is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

• Some familiarity/training with professional equipment including ovens, mixers, etc.
• An efficient and clean worker.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Looking for a career in baking.
• Food hygiene certificate (preferred but not essential).

Pay: £15,000.00 - £20,000.00 per year
