This is an exceptional career opportunity for an experienced, high calibre pharmacist looking to further advance their career and develop leadership, clinical and prescribing skills within Unplanned Care at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are a provider of local services, a centre for specialist care and a world-class teaching hospital.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic senior pharmacist to make a difference and ensure the best outcomes for patients accessing emergency services within the Trust. The post holder will work to ensure the continued provision and development of high quality, comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to patients as well as influence senior managers and clinicians within Unplanned Care. We will provide the successful candidate with a comprehensive induction covering all aspects of Trust work, support from senior pharmacy staff and an environment to develop further.
The successful applicant will enjoy working in a busy challenging environment, be able to manage multiple priorities and deliver against tight deadlines. The ability to work autonomously and with a high level of accountability is essential. You should possess a postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent and have the relevant hospital pharmacy experience. Experience of working and influencing in a multi-disciplinary team and an independent prescribing qualification are essential.
