Join us as an Estimator, Senior Estimator, or Estimating Manager and be pivotal in shaping projects across transportation, infrastructure, and energy. You'll lead development initiatives, steer our community of practice, and champion technical excellence while fostering service innovation and advancing our benchmarking credentials.

Our Project & Programme Services team is looking to hire Estimators / Senior Estimators to support our growing business. Our Complex Infrastructure team works across three major markets:

• Infrastructure (Water, Defence, etc).
• Transport (Rail, Highways, etc).
• Energy (Nuclear, Renewable Energy, etc).

Your Purpose:

• Support and lead on estimates from feasibility through to detailed design.
• Produce high-level order of magnitude costs and be capable of producing first principal estimates at later stages.
• Adapt to work across multiple sectors and disciplines and have the drive to learn new skills.
• Have an advanced understanding of the typical methods of measurements used in the UK and the ability to complete a full take-off independently, including proficiency in estimating software.
• Possess a comprehensive knowledge of indirect costs and other fees to complete an estimate.
• Engage strongly with stakeholders, including engineers, clients, and authorities to complete estimates.
• Review all outputs of junior estimators and provide guidance on projects.
• Understand the role of a consultancy on projects and the purpose of budgetary estimates.
• Independently write a basis-of-estimate report to be reviewed by a director within the team prior to submission.
• Benchmark outputs against other market data to provide further evidence to the client.
• Support the wider business in estimating bids and technical development.
