UNQUALIFIED Teaching Assistant – Caldicot and Chepstow
From £83.85 per day
£13.74 per hour
Monday – Friday (Full time and part time roles available)
8:30 – 3:30 – No weekends!
We are delighted to be working in partnership with a Special Educational Needs School in Chepstow and Caldicot. The school supports young people from 3 to 19 years of age within both mainstream settings and SEN bases. They are currently seeking both full-time and part-time members of staff to join their team of educators.
The role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support young people in their personal and educational development based on their individual development plans. This will be provided to you by the school via their assessment process. The support will take place both in and outside the classroom, as sensory and practical lessons are essential to making an impact in the school.
Providing a positive mental attitude and promoting independence within the school will be crucial to building a strong relationship with the young person, as well as fostering a positive correlation between the young person and education.
You will receive training to ensure you are confident in supporting the young people. This training will be provided by both Teaching Personnel and the school.
