What this job involves:

The Proposal Manager will be responsible to lead the end-to-end proposal management process Workplace Management / FM opportunities across multiple geographies. This involves proposal development, cross-functional team coordination, and ensuring compliance with bid requirements.

1. Create bid strategies
2. Identify, capture and develop win themes
3. Champion proposal best practice
4. Analyse tender documents to determine bid requirements
5. Contribute to the country-specific pricing strategies and commercial proposals
6. Develop a bid programme and identify necessary resources
7. Understand competitive landscape and seek to positively differentiate bid offer
8. Ensure alignment to internal processes and obtain approvals in timely manner
9. Submit consistently high quality, customer focused tender responses within allocated time frame
10. Coordinate internal and independent reviews in line with bid programme
11. Monitor continuous improvement and development opportunities
12. Work with creative teams to enhance visual impact of tender responses / presentations
13. Create a library of proposal templates
14. Work with knowledge management team to maintain bid library and other relevant business development collateral
15. Support global sales enablement programmes to enhance sales productivity
16. Coordinate with local teams to gather market intelligence and maximize win probability

1. Strong educational background – degree / professional qualifications preferred
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in bid management
3. In-depth understanding of end to end tendering process and associated activities
4. Knowledge of the Facility Management industry
5. Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), coupled with strong influencing skills – particularly at a senior level
6. Proven track record of success
7. Unyielding attention to detail that results in zero error/defects
8. Flexible and proactive with ability to work under their own initiative with a high degree of energy, assertiveness and creativity
9. Excellent project management skills and strong organisational capability
10. Commitment to collaboration and teamwork
11. Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and work under pressure
12. Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
13. Excellent oral and written English
