About the Opportunity

This is an incredible opportunity to work on the most vital part of MoonPay's business: our ramps - the foundation of our success and a key part of simplifying crypto for everyone. As a Senior Product Designer, you'll help make buying and selling crypto faster, easier, and more accessible, driving significant impact for both users and the business.

You'll collaborate with top partners and users to identify improvements, taking a data-driven, experimental approach where even small changes in conversion rate (CVR) can make a huge difference. You'll work alongside a stellar team of engineers across trade, payments, identity, and fraud.

While the ramps will be your primary focus, you'll also have opportunities to contribute to MoonPay's consumer app, working across multiple products in a small, agile design team that values ownership and impact. You'll take projects from idea to implementation, delivering thoughtful, world-class experiences while solving complex user problems.

Design is your superpower, but you're also a strong product thinker who thrives on understanding what to build and why - not just how it looks.

What you will do

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll own the end-to-end design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create impactful solutions. Specifically, you'll:

1. Partner with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and Data Scientists to discover and act on new opportunities.
2. Prototype and validate ideas through user research and usability testing.
3. Plan and deliver polished, well-documented designs ready for implementation.
4. Contribute to MoonPay's design system, Orion, to maintain consistency across all products.
5. Improve team processes and practices, helping our small but agile design team work smarter and more efficiently.

You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy solving tough problems, delivering exceptional user experiences, and iterating quickly to make meaningful improvements.

About You

We're looking for someone passionate about crafting thoughtful, impactful designs and solving big problems. You're a great fit if:

1. You have 5+ years of experience designing digital products, with a portfolio showing strong product thinking, processes, and measurable outcomes.
2. You're a Figma expert, skilled in designing, prototyping, and creating structured documentation.
3. You ensure designs are efficient, well-documented, and easy for engineers to implement.
4. You're comfortable with tools like usertesting.com or Maze to validate ideas and inform decisions.
5. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing quality and speed, and you approach problems with curiosity and a desire to learn.

Nice-to-haves:

1. Experience in fintech or crypto, or a strong interest in learning about these industries.
2. Skills in motion design, illustration, or other complementary design disciplines.

1. Figma (including FigJam) for everything from brainstorming to polished designs and documentation.
2. Contributing to Orion, MoonPay's design system for consistent and scalable solutions.

Collaboration:

1. Partnering with content designers, engineers, PMs, data scientists, and operations teams.
2. Engaging with senior leadership to align on goals and strategy.
