Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant | Permanent | London | FMCG Beauty | £37,000-£40,000 | 3 days per week in office

JasperRose have partnered with a growing FMCG beauty brand who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the London based business 3 days a week in office. This is a newly created role due to the growth the company has received and is working in a dynamic team and will be working closely with the Finance Controller.

This company have some exciting internal projects and provides the perfect platform to shape the role as your own whilst receiving global exposure.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with management account production with supporting analysis
• Carrying out variance analysis and reporting on ways to explore cost reduction
• Month end duties including journals, accruals, prepayments, gross profit, and fixed assets
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with budgets
• Assisting with year-end tasks
• Ad-hoc duties such as supporting with transactional finance

Skill set required:

The successful candidate will have 2-3 year’s finance experience, with at least 1 year of month-end experience and be at the Part-Qualified level. Prior experience in a consumer or FMCG business is beneficial but not essential. You must possess strong communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative. This is a close-knit team who enjoy socialising and have a great office culture.
