Job description

The Senior Director of Global Supply Chain - Distribution & Logistics Transformation, reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, will drive strategic advancements in optimizing distribution and logistics efficiencies. In collaboration with regional teams, this role will focus on enhancing scalability, cost-effectiveness, and operational resilience while ensuring high-performance execution across global logistics networks.


Your Mission

  1. Oversee global transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, agility, and scalability in distribution and logistics
  2. Implement cost-effective, sustainable solutions that enhance service levels and operational performance
  3. Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of strategic transformation projects
  4. Align third-party logistics (3PL) and distribution partners with transformation objectives, ensuring high-performance operations and cost efficiencies
  5. Develop and mentor a high-performing team of logistics and supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  6. Establish performance-based contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with third-party providers to drive accountability and results
  7. Implement real-time tracking, analytics, and reporting systems to monitor 3PL and distribution partner performance
  8. Develop and execute continuous improvement programs with third-party logistics providers to enhance service quality and efficiency
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and sustainability standards across all third-party logistics operations
  10. Leverage benchmarking and industry best practices to optimize cost, service levels, and scalability in external logistics partnerships
  11. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive global performance standards and improvements
  12. Partner with the Regional On Operations team in the creation, development and execution of these transformations within the respective regions
  13. Partner with On IT and analytics teams to integrate business intelligence (BI) tools and ERP systems for seamless data aggregation and reporting
  14. Lead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, automation, and AI-driven analytics to optimize distribution and logistics operations

Your Story

  1. 12+ years of leadership experience in global supply chain, logistics, or distribution transformation
  2. Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation initiatives and managing high-performance logistics operations
  3. Expert in supply chain automation and process optimization
  4. Strong financial acumen with experience managing contracts, cost-saving initiatives, and logistics strategies
  5. Experience managing stakeholders, change leadership, and strategic execution skills in complex global environments
  6. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced supply chain analytics tools
  7. A strong relationship builder with executive presence, able to influence without authority and foster cross-functional collaboration through clear, purposeful communication
  8. Preferred: Advanced degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or a related field
  9. Preferred: Certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent
  10. Preferred: Experience in digital supply chain transformation, distribution and logistics sourcing, sustainability initiatives, and data-driven decision-making
