Speech And Language Therapist

Blackstone Recruitment is working with a Private school who is recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist to join them based in Liverpool, Merseyside.

This is a full time permanent contract.

Job Summary

1. Providing individual and group therapy, helping students with Autism and communication needs to develop their skills.
2. Collaborating with teachers and support staff to implement strategies that benefit students across all areas of their education.
3. Supporting the team with expert advice on AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and speech/language development.
4. Tracking progress and celebrating success with the team.

Who We're Looking For:

Essential:

1. A qualified Speech and Language Therapist with experience in autism or complex learning needs.
2. Strong knowledge of AAC systems.
3. Great team player who is ready to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and other professionals.
4. Passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people.

Desirable:

1. Experience with SCERTS and Social Thinking.
2. Background in creating or implementing speech therapy programs for students with autism.

About the School

A thriving special school, educating nearly 300 students aged 3-19 with Autism and complex learning needs. We're looking for a passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our team and help shape the future of our students' communication skills.

Job Specifics

1. Salary: £34,574 - £39,122 (Actual Salary), NJC Grade 7 (FTE £39,513 - £44,711)
2. Hours: 35 hours per week, Term Time only (39 weeks per year)
3. Working Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
4. Contract: Full-time, Term Time only
5. Relocation Package: May be available for the right candidate
