Aspiring Psychologist – SEN Teaching Assistant - Nurturing & Creative Primary School – Chelmsford – Education and Training

Academics are exclusively working with a wonderful Primary school in the heart of Chelmsford to find an Aspiring Psychologist – SEN Teaching Assistant. This really is an opportunity not to be missed.

This is an ASAP start position, Monday – Friday, school hours (8:30am – 3:30pm). The daily rate for this role is between £83-£100 per day depending on experience.

Aspiring Psychologist – SEN Teaching Assistant – School Details:

Aspiring Psychologist – SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Supporting children with Autism (ASD), Behaviour Needs (SEMH) & Global Delay
  • Working 1-2-1 with students, building a nurturing relationship over the remaining academic year
  • Pupils are great! – but require additional support from a candidate who is resilient and can use their initiative to best support them
  • If you are an Aspiring Child Psychologist, this role will add fantastic experience to your CV aiding future applications for MA & MSc’s etc
  • Working Monday-Friday, school hours – long term until at least July 2025 – perfect ahead of further studies
  • £83-£100 per day – depending on experience (Term time only)

Aspiring Psychologist – SEN Teaching Assistant – Person details:

  • Kind, caring, compassionate, resilient and able to use initiative
  • A graduate is ideal, but not essential
  • Ambitious with future career aspirations within Psychology, Therapy, Counselling, Support Work, Behaviour etc
  • Some experience with children with additional needs is great, especially in school settings, but can also be transferable skills!
  • Able to start in the next 2-3 weeks maximum – student needs support sooner rather than later
